Nousaku Corporation is a casting manufacturer in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, and a producer of the traditional Takaoka copperware.
The company offers a factory tour where visitors can see the profound craftsmanship behind the traditional industry. Inside the same building, visitors can also have a go at casting and enjoy Nousaku tableware at the cafe. There is also a factory shop selling lim ited items.
富山県高岡市で高岡銅器・鋳物製造を支える『株式会社能作』。建物内には伝統産業を支える職人技術の奥行きを感じることができる工場を見学できるほか、鋳物製作体験、『能作』の器を使ったカフェ、限定商品も販売している直営店がある。

FACTORY TOUR

A guided tour allows you to watch the process of casting, a technology that has been cultivated for over 400 years in Takaoka. You can smell the casting and feel the heat as you watch the craftsmen at work. No tours on Sundays, national holidays, and occasional Saturdays.
高岡で400年にわたり育まれてきた鋳造の作業工程、鋳物づくりの匂いや温度、職人の姿をガイド付きで見学できる。日曜、祝日休業。土曜不定休業有。

NOUSAKU LAB

You can try your hand at tin casting using the traditional method to make Takaoka copperware. People of all ages can enjoy creating a one and only original copperware piece.

高岡銅器の伝統技法を用いた錫製品の製作体験できる。子供から大人まで楽しめ、世界にひとつだけのオリジナルの品が作れる。

IMONO KITCHEN

At Imono Kitchen, meals featuring Toyama’s local produce are served on the beautiful and easy-to-use Nousaku tableware.

美しく使いやすく魅力的な『能作』の器。その器を使用したカフェでは、富山の食材を使用した食事を楽しむことができる。
